Heatherton
believes that as a church grows bigger, it must also
grow smaller. We spend a lot of time and energy making
it easy for you to find the group of people that you
are looking for in a context that is comfortable for
you.
You will find many people at Heatherton
in a small group known as Link Groups. They range from
groups of people still new in their faith to bible study
groups to groups focused around serving the needs of
the people in our community.
Another great way to get connected
is through ministry. Ministry is how the people here
at Heatherton serve and help out each other, the church
and the community. If you would like to minister, please
check out our "Opportunities To Serve" page to
get a better idea of where you might fit. It is our
prayer that every believer in Jesus Christ will find
an area to serve the Lord.
Heatherton is also a place
where we can share life together. Baby dedications,
baptisms, spiritual guidance, and worship times are
all apart of life as a church family.
We also realise that some of you
are looking for some community that happens online.
We have email lists as well as blogs. Blogs are where
people share their thoughts and feelings online. You
may want to head to our message boards for some discussion
and ideas on a wide variety of topics.
Whatever sized group you
are looking for, they meet on every day of the week
and almost around the clock (a lot of us serve during
odd hours at Heatherton). There is someplace where you
can connect at Heatherton.
